Gigi Hadid’s New Announcement: Netflix’s “Next in Fashion” Season 2 is Coming Soon
It was a great shock for all the fashionistas when they heard the news from Netflix that one of the newest reality fashion shows Next in Fashion which aired its first season in 2020, was canceled just after the first season. It was a disappointment for all those viewers who loved the show and waited for more, which was hosted by two renowned fashion designers Tan France and Alexa Chung.

But then we got to know the good news that there is going to be a second season of the show but with a bit of change and we will not be seeing our previous host Alexa Chung. This time the show will be co-hosted by another of the top names in the fashion world, supermodel Gigi Hadid together with France. But we were not given many details about when we will be getting the next season on Netflix and we are assuming it to be somewhere near 2022 but there was still not much update after both Hadid and France confirmed they are hosting together in January of this year.
But recently, Gigi Hadid has given us an update on the ongoing making of the next season of the show through her Instagram saying, “Want to say, with only a couple of weeks left, that shooting this show alongside my brother @tanfrance has been a joy of my life.”
She has also revealed that we will be getting the new episodes of the Next in Fashion series, season two very soon and be able to meet more new talented designers from all around the world.
What Do We Know about “Next in Fashion”?
Netflix’s Next in Fashion started airing in 2020 as a real fashion show, where competent designers from various parts of the world come together as participants to compete by showcasing their talents and take home prize money of $250,000. Not just this, they will also be able to showcase their fashion collections on the fashion retailer Net-a-Porter, and what’s more, they will get the chance to be the new top name in the fashion world.
The first season of the show aired on January 29, 2020, with a total of 10 episodes and with a total of 18 participants coming together to compete. The first season winner was Minju Kim, a South Korean-based designer, who won the $250,000 prize money along with her collections being showcased in Net-a-Porter and she was able to collaborate with many more well-known fashion brands.
